Linc Hand Talks New Film Imperium

If you haven't seen the trailer for Imperium yet, we suggest you do so immediately. The highly anticipated crime/drama by Lionsgate has you hanging on by a thread from the moment you lay eyes on the picture. Then again how could you go wrong with a star-studded cast like Daniel Radcliffe, Toni Collette, Tracy Letts, Nestor Carbonell, Linc Hand, and Sam Trammell?

Lucky for you we caught up with 42: The True Story of An American Legend actor Linc Hand to talk a bit about working on—what's soon to be—the set of his latest box office smash.

"I've seen the trailer, and it looks really good. If somehow, I can watch the movie and not look at myself, that would make me happy. It's always weird watching yourself." He said with a chuckle. "For me, if I watch the film, all I see is the stuff I did wrong instead of enjoying it. I'm thinking, 'Oh God, someone will know I screwed that up.' Or I think about the seven-thousand different ways I could have done the scene at hand."

Although the Revenge actor couldn't spill too many details on the premise of his latest film, his stories off the set were just as great. "It was awesome working with Radcliffe. I remember our first day of filming—we were shooting a scene that required us to be on the ground, faces planted in dirt. After they called cut, he looked over at me, face covered in dirt, and said, 'How you doing?' This was the first day I met the guy. I laughed and said, 'I'm having fun.' He said, 'You're right, this is a lot of fun, isn't it?' It was cool—it was a reminder of how lucky I am to play pretend, and that even with his level of success, we were like two little kids having fun."

And in case you're looking for more Linc Hand? Stay tuned for a full roster of developing projects. "I have a few projects that have wrapped production and may possibly be released in 2016 as well. Right now, there's no set release date. One is called LISTEN—a drama that goes deep into the lives of a group of high school students."

We'll be looking out for it, Linc!

You can catch Mr. Hand and Mr. Radcliffe at box offices everywhere August 19th. Watch the trailer for Imperium here.
